loop: Thesis Project
Two-Minute Looping Film
loop is a multidisciplinary design project that responds to human perceptions of time. Taking the form of a two-minute looping video, the project explores the mechanics of time, death, anticipation and memory. loop cinematically investigates the taboo and unexplainable through the lens of a trained designer. With abstract and iconic symbols, the film prompts the audience to question the deeper implications of time within their lives.
Exhibition – The project was exhibited publicly on May 7th in the Senior Design Exhibition at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Film stills, vinyl lettering, and a 110-page thesis process book were shown alongside the film.
